RYZEN 1600X//ASUS PRIME B350 PLUS. Is My Memory Compatible ?

I recently bought a build that consists of;

Ryzen 5 1600X
Corsair 2x4GB 2133MHz DDR4
Asus Prime B350-Plus Motherboard.

Components I already had that im putting in the new build;

GIGABYTE Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
EVGA 600W POWER SUPPLY

What's happening is my system won't post at all. I've rang up customer service from where I got the parts from, to see what was the problem a week ago and they told me that my motherboard bios didn't support ryzen 5, only ryzen 7.

But with an update it should be fine.

So I sent it back and they updated it and I just tried to turn it on again after building and it still won't post.

So they told me it's either the ram or power supply. But the power supply hasn't shorted out or anything so I've come down to it being the ram.

I've tried using or the ram slots available and using only one ram stick. Both do not help it post.

Cmk8gx4m2a2133c13r is the product code of my ram. Just wanted to know if anybody has any knowledge of this ram is compatible with my motherboard or ryzen 5.

Thanks

First make sure you update bios on your mobo to the latest version. Memory compatibility with ryzen has been added steadily since its release so this would be the first thing to check.

As for where you'd look for compatibility, on ryzen's page it says only:

Memory
Max Memory Speed
2667MHz
Memory Interface
DDR4
Memory Channels
2

but I've seen it support higher so that's not much up to date. Then check the mobo site:
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-B350-PLUS/HelpDesk_QVL/
for the list of qualified vendors list for memory with that mobo.
I see the 4x4 version of that memory listed as supported, and has a version 5.29 listed next to it, whatever that means but then does not have 2 or 4 dimm socket support ticked off which...I am not sure what it means. Something to ask asus I guess.
Finally you can see the memory's list of mobos:
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-lpx-8gb-2x4gb-ddr4-dram-2133mhz-c13-memory-kit-red-cmk8gx4m2a2133c13r
which...doesn't look up to date.
My advice would be check with asus directly.

When I first sent it back they updated the bios for me using a ryzen 7. They said my motherboard with my ryzen 5 CPU posted fine when they tested it with the new bios.

I've also tried using my friends ddr4 1x8 Corsair vengeance ram 2400mhz, that Asus themselves have put on the motherboard memory compatibility list, but still no post.

Tried it in all 4 lanes.

Case and CPU fans spin but nothing on my monitor. Also tried a hdmi cable and a dvi-d cable.

I'm truly stuck here, I don't know whether to just buy different ram and try it or just send it all back.

I'm buying a mobo speaker to see if I can get any idea on what's causing it not too post.
