I have a G-Sync monitor, but the G-Sync option wont appear in NVIDIA Control Panel

Solution
According to your pic you are using a DVI cable, G-sync requires Displayport, but that maybe a moot point. The replacement board in the upgrade kit that enabled G-sync on those monitors only had a displayport so since your monitor obviously still has the DVI port(and likely the hdmi port), I doubt you have the G-Sync version of that monitor.

It's not a G-sync monitor, as I have the exact same model as the OP.
https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/VG248QE/ It's not stated on the product page
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236313 Price is a little low for an actual G-sync monitor.

As do I. Asus and Nvidia did offer an upgrade kit for a limited time to make it g-sync and a couple places like Overlord sold them with the upgrade pre installed.

I see. Then the OP merely got the model without it.
