So i am currently using the HP compaq pro 6300 sff as a gaming machine (not the best but its enough considering i'm on a budget.) I was wondering if a GTX 1050 low profile or a GTX 750 low profile (not sure if ti or not) would be a wise investment in my computer.
CPU: i5 3470
Current graphics card (potato) AMD radeon HD 6350
memory 4gb ddr 3 (looking to bump to 8)
even though the hp compaq pro 6300 sff only has 240watt power supply people have been putting 1050s in them and running them. My main concern is not only will it work and run, but will heating become a problem and is it worth it? Also another problem is that according to other people with the hp 6300 sffwith the 1050 the psu is running at 93% and was wondering if this would be a problem.

Thanks in advance.

Solution
Our office uses a number of HP SFF computers. Most of them have a GT 210 fanless card in them and we have problems with some of them. They either overheat or just crash because the power supply can't handle the load. The combination of very limited air flow and weak power supply means that you may be able to get a better video card to work, but it will be a gamble. If you get a video card that exhausts the heat out of the case it might help some.
