Hello, i want to change my CPU but i dont know any good ones to upgrade too. I have a budget of around £150 but i could stretch that. I dont really want to change anything other than the cpu but i want a decent upgrade any suggestions?

Current specs:
i5 4690
16gb dual channel DDR 3
Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. B85-HD3-A
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (EVGA)
119GB Hitachi HFS128G32MND-3210A (SSD)
2794GB Western Digital WDC WD30EZRZ-00Z5HB0 (SATA)

Your not going to get the performance improvement you're looking for by just upgrading the CPU. You're going to spend a significant amount of money only to render a few extra frames, while not noticing a performance improvement. Your money should be saved until it is time to purchase a new pc.

There's no significant upgrades for $150 in your socket. Your GPU is top quality, you have an SSD, you have 16gb of RAM, the only thing that really needs upgraded is your CPU. I think the only worthwhile upgrade would be to the i7 4790k, but it's double that budget.

There's no upgrade that you can do with $150.
