I know its down to how much storage I have and can differ from person to person> > https://imgur.com/a/qtM2b

I currently have a 2TB external HD that I am using to create images of both my internal SSD and HDD.
I am looking to return it and buy a 1TB external drive , because at the moment I dont feel I need a 2TB external HD for the 'space' I have on my internal storage devices...also saves me about £20 if I return and buy 1TB external ;)

From your own experience, is it just better to keep the 2TB, because at some point in the future, my 2TB internal HD will become more full, and so will my SSD, which will amount to more than a 1TB 'image', thus NEEDING my 2TB external HD when creating the image? If that makes sense haha? :?

Or just return and buy a 1TB?

King Regards!

Depends on how much you think the trouble is worth for an extra $20. If I already had the 2TB, I wouldn't return it for $20 because I think an extra 1TB of space is worth more than $20 and I don't want to go through the trouble of having to return something.

If you plan to image your system frequently, it will probably be better to just keep the 2TB.

You know what, you are probably right. Better to have more than less, and £20 for an extra 1TB is definately worth it.

I wil probably image my system (ssd and hdd) every week, or if I make a big change to my PC
