So I just got the last parts to my first pc build today, Im pretty sure I've hooked everything up right because I can access my BIOS and see everything is right, so I change my cd/dvd drive to the priority boot but when I try install my windows 7(disc) I cannot select a driver, I've tried to rescan for it, it says "No device drivers were found. Make sure the instillation media contains the correct drivers, and then click OK"

What do i do to fix this?

Since you say this is a new build. If it is an AMD Ryzen or Intel Kaby Lake system. They are not Windows 7 compatible. There are hacks to get it functioning. Do you really want to really an OS that needs hacks to run?

You may have more than one SATA controller. If you have different colored SATA ports. Try plugging the DVD drive into a different colored port. As generic drivers may not work for whatever SATA controller is being used.

Is this a USB DVD drive? If so it won't install through a USB 3/3.1 port. Change to a USB 2.0 port if your motherboard has them.
