I bought a Ryzen 1700 and I couldn't quite get the stock Wraith Cooler on there. I took it off to retry but now that the paste is spread everywhere, I'm wondering if it's safe to try putting the cooler back on or do I need to re-apply paste? I'd be happy if I could just get it working for a few days because I can't buy thermal paste until monday. Also some of it is hanging off the edges of the CPU.
