I am looking to upgrade my wifi adapter. With so many options to choose from but with so few reviews that I can find online. I am having a hard time on what adapter I should upgrade to.

I think the router is not compatible with AC at 5ghz. I'm using a desktop and I prefer a usb adapter but a pci adapter should be fine. Budget is around $30-$50.
