Whenever my pc is under a lot of system stress, it makes this loud screeching noise. If this is coil whine then I'm the kind of England! I have a lot more information about my rig in the description of the video I linked, but the jist is that I don't really know where it's coming from or how to stop it besides lessening my computer's workload.
It might be coming from the GPU, but I can't be certain about that. It also doesn't help that I've never found another video that has quite the same sound, so I don't know if this is something to be worried about or if it's just a minor annoyance in the long-run.
Aside from the computer slowing down because of increased workload, the noise itself (and whatever's causing it) hasn't seemed to harm performance in any way; it just seems like a side effect of the slowdown.
The video was taken with my phone on my desk, sitting about 1.5ft above my computer. It's on the hardwood floor right next to me, and as you can probably tell, the noise is quite distracting. Any & all help would be appreciated!
