PSU doesn't have CPU connector

i bought an apevia VN500W watt power supply and for some reason it does not have an 8 pin connector to my motherboard for CPU power. should i buy a new PSU or do i not need it or what do i do??? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817148054 that link is to the power supply

Apevia power supplies are horrible quality , don't use one.

If it only has a 4-pin connector you can just use the 4-pin.

I don't recommend using any Apevia , very very poor quality , get the SEASONIC I linked above.

As others here have pointed out.. That's a pretty horrible PSU.

That aside, it does have a CPU power connector, but it's only a 4-pin. You *could* use the 4-pin in the 8-pin connector, but the more prudent decision would be to throw that PSU in the garbage and buy something proper.
