HDD died. Bought SSD. Have Windows 10 installation USB drive.
Plugged in new SSD - nothing. PC just beeps continuously (assuming its trying to tell me something is wrong).
How can I install Windows on this new SSD if I cant even get to the BIOS/Boot menu to set the removeable drive as a boot drive?
Plugged in old (dead) HDD to see if the machine will at least give me a chance to press F12 to get to boot menu... same behavior - just keeps beeping.
Not sure if this is important but original HDD had windows 7, did free upgrade to windows 10.
