even though if it is using the same mount, there might be some chance that the heatsink wont fit or probably if the weight of the heatsink could be different which can probably broke the graphics card, also there might be surface area size difference on the contact point. why would you even do that? pascal gpu should be more efficient in terms of thermal though

seeing by the dimension of both cards i think they both have different size of components, also the vrm location in the r9 looks really different, it is kinda messy. set the fan manually at like 70% might help, or do push pull configuration in your case, or if you want you can do some underclocking, but the performance would decrease a lot, because the 1060 mini itself were already underclocked, the cooler not strong enough to handle it, it can even get worse if you put it in small form factor/bad airflow case

Can you tell me where the VRM are???? Cause I would love to know, also, how do you cool the VRM? With the fans? In that case isn't the dual fan cooler than the single one?

the vrm is at the left on both graphics card, the square shaped one, some r9 270x have different vrm design depending on the manufacturer
