What is the best graphic card should i get right now? Im using GT 740, i need better experience in my modern game with higher graphic settings. My price range is around 190 USD

Here is my computer spec
Resolution Scale : 1366x768
Power Supply: 300 watt
Current Graphic card: GT 740 2gb by asus overclocked dual fan
CPU : Intel i5-4460
Ram : 12GB

And do i need to grab a new power supply with the new graphic card?

Solution

a gtx 1050 ti would be a great choice for you

you can keep your current power supply IF you make sure to buy a version that requires no pcie 6-pin

I agree, a 1050 Ti meets all the needs. It'll do very well at that resolution, comes in 75W versions, and will play the new games at high settings due to the 4gb vram. The one caveat is if your monitor has only VGA input you will need an active adapter, since that card does not output analog.

Brands doesn't make much difference, they all use a GTX 1050ti GPU, some of the more expense ones have better coolers, not that it's a hot running GPU. You can't go wrong with the big brand names like MSI, EVGA, Asus & Gigabyte, just be sure to get one that doesn't require a 6 pin power connector.....most don't.

Graphic cards from ASUS, MSI, and EVGA are great. So feel free to choose from them
