Hello,

I just installed this new 8gb ram module Kingston 8GB DDR3 1600MHz for Desktop FURY Memory Blue HyperX - HX316C10F/8 on my pc and when i tried to boot i got stuck on this bootloop, i checked my motherboard and cpu compatability with the memory and it supports mine,

Pc specs
Motherboard : h61m s2p
Cpu : i7 3770k
Gpu : evga geforce 750 ti
Psu : 500w evga white

I had
A 8gb stick 1333mhz

Thanks, hope there is a solution.

Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
A motherboard must manage all the ram using the same specs of voltage, cas and speed.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.

The boot loop is likely the motherboard trying to find a matched ram setting that will work.
It will, for example set the second stick to 1333.

Adding ram as an upgrade is iffy, and not 100% certain of working.
Once you get it to boot, look at the ram settings.
Install just your original ram and in the bios, set explicitly the settings for two sticks that worked. It might for example be a little more than stock voltage.

If you need the extra ram, I suggest returning the new ram.
Go to the Kingston web site and access their ram configurator.
Enter your motherboard and you will get a list of compatible 2 x 8gb ram kits.
Keep the old stick as a spare.

If you contact Kingston ram support, you might get some sympathy and a exchange.

I searched before buying this stick, about the frequency differences and stuff, so far i read that they can be compatible but the new ram would downgrade to 1333mhz to match the original stick.

anyways, i tried using the new stick only , i put it in the original ram place, i started the pc and i got the boot reboot, so maybe its not about the 2 rams not matching, maybe its the ram and motherboard not matching, what could be the problem ?.

thanks

So, i tried after multiple times, i tried to change the memory mhz or overclock it to 1600mhz and i did it by changing the multiplier from 13.33 to 16.00, anyways i tried the hyperx stick by itself and it worked !, i shut down the pc and install the original one back so i can finally have the 16gb and when the windows logo booted i get Blue screen of death dumping physical memory etc, then i restart again and it just froze on the boot logo and i hard reset it and im back to square one. hope this helps somehow
