Games Crash often, need help

I've read through previous threads and I need help, I don't know where to start or what to do. I'm new to the PC scene and just need some help. My games keep crashing and I don't know why (since games don't really provide error codes, it just crashes and asks if you wanna send a report). I don't believe anything is overheating, temperatures sit at around 60 during stress tests and I googled around to see if that's normal and it seems fine. All drivers and Bios have been updated and I make sure to close all unnecessary programs before playing a game. Lately I have been opening task manager to monitor the system's performance and nothing is out of the ordinary. The games that I have seen this happen on are Rainbow Six: siege, PUBG, and Skyrim. Specs are as followed

AMD Ryzen 5 1600x @3.9 MHz (performance mode on Mobo)
ASUS Prime B350-Plus
NVIDIA GTX 1070 founders edition.
8GB ram (plan on upgrading soon, thinking this maybe the prob)
2 TB HDD (plan on upgrading this soon to ssd as well, maybe this is also the prob?)
650W power supply

Should I overclock to potentially make the problems go away? Should I upgrade to see if things run smooth? As I have said all my drivers and the bios is up to date and I just wanna know if there is any potential ways I can fix this before I go out and buy more stuff.

Memtest86+ version 5.01

The Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip) is the easiest to use -- it does not run under Windows, it is for either use as an optical disk or USB stick (created from the iso image) that you boot from directly to run the testing.

I assume that you are running Windows 10.

As a first step, I would test the memory by running THIS free memory testing program. It should pass a couple of runs with zero errors. If it does pass then run the Prime95 torture test while monitoring your system temps.

What model PSU?

It's a Rosewill Photon 80+ gold fully modular PSU. I'll run the test in the meantime. Which test is it that i should download and run? there is a few.
