Since I've gotten the specified motherboard (Gigabyte 970A-UD3P) I've been having my pc reboot seemingly at random over many operating systems and configurations
Currently with it I am using a GTX 1060 3gb, FX-6300, Samsung 850 EVO and EPS-650W CM as the PSU
Over the many years on it I've replaced a GPU, 2 PSUs (400W > 450W > 650W), 4 ram sticks with the same CPU and the problem has persisted
All of my temps are in check, the voltages seem fine, the PSUs have been checked and all output the correct voltages before and after use
The windows event log reports a "Kernel-Power" 'critical error' with the ID 41 for which the only solution I can see would be updating my BIOS but am somewhat hesitant to do that since risks are involved and I haven't money for a new motherboard (or anything else at this point)

Thank you in advance for the responses and/or the time spent reading this!

Solution
Event ID 41 is basically a timeout waiting for a device to respond. Kernel power 41 error can also be related to your hardware.

Based on the information you provided, I don't know what memory you are using. Users have reported that after replacing their motherboard or power supply unit, issue with kernel power 41 was completely resolved. Some users have also reported that their issue was caused due to RAM.

Kernel power 41 error can be caused by your audio driver, so make sure that you check Device Manager for any duplicate driver entries.
