I have an i3 6100U, it sucks ass and i can't really do anything about it, my best bet is adding more RAM but will it become pointless if it reaches 16gb? will it impact my gameplay or will I just lag the shit out of myself If i play as a female character?

Few games can use more than 8gb. Adding ram is not likely to help much.
On a laptop, about the only effective performance upgrade is to change windows to a ssd.
Most of what you do will seem quicker.
Games, levels, textures will load faster.
Checkpoints will be faster.
That is about it.
There are no good gaming updates for a laptop except replacing the whole thing.
