Is this build smart to buy right now?

I've put together this build for gaming (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Spectre42/saved/npYJVn), and want to be buying asap really. I'm going to be buying a new monitor too, for 1440p, and want to be able to run dual screens, with a game (max settings) on one screen, and a video on the other. I don't want to have to upgrade for a long time, so I've gone for parts I think will have a long lifetime.

Is the build I've picked suitable for this? Are there any parts I should upgrade/downgrade to better price/performance point?

As a separate point, can I run 1440 on my main monitor and 1080 on my second? Or do I need 2 1440 monitors?

Gold rated just means how efficient it is. It tells nothing about the quality. Also usually on lower quality units they tend to rate it higher than it is and as there is no control with the ratings they can basically do whatever they like.

The Corsair RM550x is a very good unit and a top quality one. You can also get it in a 650w version if that is what you like. Only 6 quid

If you cannot wait for Coffee Lake then that is a fine system. Just one thing though, that PSU is really not a good one. Get something like a EVGA G2 or Corsair RMx, also 550w is enough for your system if you wanna save a bit.
I don't think you can run different resolutions on the 2 screens, not sure though.

What's wrong with the PSU? I thought it being gold rated meant it was ok?
How is this one instead? (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B015PWMRI0/?tag=pcp0f-21&th=1)
