I am new to PC gaming so I just got a gaming computer built and made the stupid stupid mistake of not adding a wireless network adapter so now I have no internet connection as the router is far away; I don't want an Ethernet cable running through the house. my question is what would be the best wireless network adapter to add for the best performance? budget is £30-40 but anything cheaper would be better!

Right now this is the best one I found: https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-LINK-TL-WDN4800-Wireless-Express-Antennas/dp/B007GMPZ0A/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1504978252&sr=8-1-fkmr1&keywords=Tp+link+wl+4800

Solution
As a gamer, you would get the best performance from a wired network. You could get an estimate from a local low voltage cable installer. Your £40 might be enough to get you wired connectivity installed.
