Transferring storage between 2 computers with separate OS

I bought a new pc because someone was selling an ibuypower one cheap. It is better than the one I built, so I want to use it and sell mine to a friend. Before I do this I need to transfer all my data to the new computer. The new one doesn't have an ssd, so I would like to move mine to it. I wouldn't mind swapping the hdds themselves because mine seems to run a bit faster, and then I wouldn't have to transfer all the data, just the OS, right? How do I go about switching the storage between the computers while keeping the OS correct for each computer? My ssd is 120 GB and both hdds are 1TB. My hard drive has 900 GB on it already. The best idea I have come up with is to wipe my ssd, put it in new computer then clone the hdd onto it so it has OS, then wipe the new computer's hdd and move it to my computer and migrate the OS from my hdd to the new one, then delete the OS from my hdd and move it to new computer.

A little confusing as to what you actually want to do here.

A concise description please.

What do you have?
What do you wish the end state to be?

From what I'm reading...your cloning concept will not work.
And "all my data" generally does not work.

Long story short I want to swap the storage between 2 PCs. One has a hard drive and ssd, the other has a hard drive. They are both windows 10.

"the storage"
Does this storage involve the OS? Installed applications?

Or is it just the physical drives?

The OS is on the ssd in first computer and on hdd in second computer. The hard drive in the first computer is almost full of applications, but the second hard drive only has the OS.

OK, to recap.

Start config:
System A - SSD and OS1. Almost full? How large?
System B - HDD and OS2. Just the OS?

End config:
System A - HDD and OS1?
System B - SSD and OS2?

What size are all the drives, and how much 'data' is consumed on each?
Do you have a whole other drive that can maybe be used during this transfer?

Currently
System A: ssd 120GB (which has OS, about 30GB free) hdd 1TB (Has about 700 GB of my data on it)
System B: hdd 1TB (with OS only)
I want
System A: hdd (with OS only)
System B: ssd (with OS) hdd (with my programs)
Trying to see if there is a way to accomplish this without buying an external hdd.

This is going to take another drive. Preferably an external. Or another internal and a $20 USB dock.
