Hello everyone!

I am in a bit of a pickle and I really could use some help.

I did a PC build about two months ago with the Ryzen 1700 processor.

When I got through windows to shut down my PC I see that the OS it self shuts down, but not my tower. All fans are on, the GPU is on, RGB is on, mobo is on.

I have to do a hard power down for my PC to fully turn off. Yes I did updates my bios to the latest edition, yes I did check my power settings, and yes I did check my bios settings as well. It all looks normal.

I was told it could be one of two things:

1) The mobo has a power switch issue

2) My PC is overheating and needs to cool down before turning off.

I didnt think that over heating would be an issue since I got the Corsair 460x. I dont have fans blowing out, but I do Have three fans blowing in and all I feel is cold air coming out from the back. My CPU is also air cooled with the MSI FROZR and the temps never go beyond 50C under tough performance.

What do I do?

EDIT: Also I forgot to mention that if the PC is on for less than an hour it shuts down fine, if its on longer or after a gaming session it has this issue.

Solution
Run this command "%windir%\System32\shutdown.exe -s -f -t 00" to eliminate Windows going to sleep or hibernation instead of full shutdown.
