Hello everyone. I just ordered Ryzen 5 1600 CPU due to it's budget capability and as I was watching a lot of tech videos about it and noticed that the CPU has a thermal paste already pre-applied to it. Is this enough? I am upgrading my old FX 6300. I might overclock a bit later on.
I will be reusing my other current PC.

I need to be sure if anyone has used Ryzen 5 1600 with Stock cooler please help me out. I will be mostly gaming on this CPU with other productivity apps as well.
Thank you in advance.

the stock thermal paste is fine, the chip maker ordered that much for a reason. "overclock a bit" is fine on stock thermal paste and cooler, replacing it is for squeezing every last drop of performance to be had or after a year or so when I suggest changing the thermal paste. if you needed every last drop of performance you would be using a different cooler.
Stock paste is fine.

should be fine, the cooler can handle it whether the chip can though...
silicon lottery.

The bundled cooler should be fine for moderate overclocking, but as with any OC project, take it slowly and monitor the temperatures carefully.

One point: You mention upgrading your FX6300 and then state you'll be reusing your other current PC. The statement is a little unclear but it sounds as if you plan on installing the Ryzen CPU into the existing motherboard? If so, it will not work, Ryzen CPUs' use a totally different motherboard and chipset to the ones that support the 'FX' series.
