Core 2 quad vs g4600 pc gaming

Please tell me if upgrading to a g4600 is worth it I currently have a q9450. Gpu is 1050ti. Mainly want to upgrade for shadow of war that's coming. I cant afford any ryzen chips or an i5.

The min recommended cpu for that game is an i5 2550k. I doubt a core 2 quad or a duel core Pentium will run that game very well. If you are on a strict budget I would at least try to spring for a duel core hyperthreded Pentium G4560, or look for something used.
