Howdy,
I'm using a Linksys EA6300 router with a gigabit Ethernet port to a custom built PC on windows 10. I also have xfinity service with 200Gbps speed. Bandwidth prioritization is off and only one device is being tested at a time. Upload speeds are fine (10-15).
If I connect directly to my modem, I see speeds that I would expect to see (~200-225) but through the router I see less than half of that (70-90). Both connections are using a gigabit port. I understand the NAT drop of ~20% through a router, but this is nowhere near 20%. Both cables (when connected via router) are cat5e, so it's not their problem either.
Is the router too old? Is there a potential issue in the hardware I've overlooked?
Any input is greatly appreciated!
