I have had this issue with minecraft ever since I have gotten my new computer last winter. I have had very small spikes/screen freezes which occur especially on very populated servers. I have noticed that it corresponds with the lagometer spikes(MB/s spikes up), which would make sense that's why it is called the lagometer. I have also had it where the lagometer will constantly be fluctuating so it seems like my screen is almost bobbing up and down. I don't know what is wrong and I have a pretty good PC. This mainly only happens in minecraft by the way.
PC specs:
Asus rog g20 cb
gtx 970
i7 6700 3.4ghz
16g ram
I really need a fix for this because it makes Minecraft really hard and annoying to play. All replies are appreciated. Thanks!

Hello Crim44, one thing that worked for me was turning down the view distance a bit. I too have a pretty powerful computer and experienced the same problem as you, but it worked just fine afterwards for me. So give it a try at least :)
