How many fans?

I wonder if I went a bit... overboard on fans? I sit here and look at my system and if I include 2 in the GPU, 1 in the PSU and the fan on the CPU cooler, that's 4. Then there are 6 case fans: 3 intake, (1 in the floor and 2 in the front panel). Then there are 3 exhaust with 2 in the top, and the last 1 in the upper rear. That makes a total of 10. My question is this: how much power does all this pull from my PSU, and can this cause any power issues. My CPU is an FX6350 with a GTX 950 SSC. The power supply is a Corsair CM650, plus it's running 2 mechanical and 1 solid state drive.

Wasn't sure if I should posted this in "components" but it seemed more of a system question...

Thanks

Solution
You have enough power. Fans are around 2W at most. So, don't worry about the number of fans. It's good to have a lot to get airflow and keep the noise down (by lowering fan rpm due to having more).

Using the calculator...I got your system consuming around 300W.

^ that's what I was going to say .
Extreme overkill on case fans but power is not an issue , most 120mm fans are between .15 &.25a @12v.

Absolute worst case scenario thse fans are pulling 18w total

I'm not sure I could handle the noise though personally.

Extreme, maybe. The case I ended up with does not have a rep for great airflow. I had a few extras lying around and then there was a sale at Microcenter on blue LED fans, so....

I haven't really heard that much noise out of the fans, other than the GPU fans ramping up a bit when gaming, and that's negligible. The 950 is fairly queit with the ACX cooling or what ever EVGA called it. I just wanted to be assured there was enough power.

Thanks
