Whats your monitor resolution ? Its a high end build that can handle editing, streaming/gaming without any issue .But if u only gaming (by chance at 144hz 1440p ),then the i7 7700k is perfect .But if not then stick with currebt build

The CPU's only part of the overall equation - and if you read through the reviews here on Tom's and elsewhere, sometimes not even the most important part. What kind of gaming are you doing? What resolution?

That said, that build is very similar to the system I just put together, though I was focusing on the 1080 for the CUDA cores for 3d work (and there's a definite difference...) and the 1700 to assist with fairly heavy multitasking. The gaming I *have* done has been wonderful... though I'm on a 1920x1080 monitor at the moment.
