I have some doubts with some of my storage drives, in CrystalDiskInfo the External HDD shows this caution problem, i've been searching for values, but i don't understand how big is the problem

And i have an M.2 that is working fine, i really don't have complains, but i'm a little bit confused why it shows like uknown, maybe it has a problem?

I hope anyone could help me, thanks in advance!!

You won't find anything about values. Which attribute showed as caution? If it is reallocated sectors then the hdd is getting bad. You're still at caution and not bad health but you should prepare for it's death. It probably won't be this year but better safe than sorry.

The m.2 is showing unknown because some reason sandisk decided to use non standard smart id codes and it can't read it. As you can see from the list, most say vendor specific so you need to use sandisk software to know what they are.

Hard Disk Sentinel has a short self test you run that can flag it if mechanical issues are starting. gives you time to transfer data before it goes.

The only issue that i would ignore is if you lost some sector space; if it is still good mechanically then you lost space and the rest of it is fine.

SSD's usually don't give much warning as far as i understand it.
