Hard drive sometimes makes a very loud click

So it's pretty much what the thread says. It's an old 2008 WD hdd, I'm using it just to store the OS with mining software. But sometimes out of nowhere it makes a very loud(for a hard drive) click. Maybe it's a series of clicks, idk, it's just so fast.
Also when the hdd indicator is lit up it makes a screeching sound. And yeah, I know that it's old and belongs in the trash, but I'd really like to know what exactly is wrong with it and how long I can use it before it breaks down. It works fine and crystal disk says that it's in good condition. Linked an image of my system specs and crystal disk. Sorry, but I couldn't figure out a way for it to run in English.

Solution
If you are 100% sure that it's the drive making the noise, backup all the important data NOW and get rid of it.
It's a time bomb just waiting to fail.
