Hey guys, just want some help finding the solution to my issue.

Ive tried this on idle and while running demanding games "Battlefield 1, warframe" at max quality.

Ive also noticed discrepancies where my PC boots up from sleep.. i think thats a power supply issue as ive had it happen quite frequently.

Just recently though 'over the weekend (09th september - 10th september 2017) " ive had my PC crash both in idle and in game. Where it would reboot and stay at a black screen while the motherboard goes haywire "high rpm fans" the gpu was spinning at normal speeds..

In one of the reboot phases i did notice the PSU click very slightly.. although this only happened once.

Heres my PC specs:
32gb corsair 1886MHz ram
850 watt antec HCG power supply
Auros GTX1080 ti Xtreme
Sabertooth Z97 mark 1 motherboard
Intel i7 4790K CPU
500GB SSD
6TB partitioned drive "C,D,G"

Solution

My Antec HCG was under volting. I concluded this after having the PSU restart the computer from sleep, along with it not being able to fully allow for OC or demanding games. Running my PC in performance mode would cause my system to slowdown in some cases.

So simply replacing the PSU to a new one...

Just for the edification of all can you explain this. The PSU you have is very high quality and was WAY more wattage than your system needs. That said maybe it was failing, it can happen. What did you do exactly?
