ASUS M5A99FX pro r2.0, Windows 10 (nothing is overclocked) I'm currently running 2x4 DDR3 GB and upgraded to 2x8 DDR3 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM and when I powered on my computer, there was no display on the monitor. I tried resetting the CMOS and the computer powered on, then froze shortly after I was on the desktop. When I reset the computer, I was met with no display again.
Is this RAM compatible with my motherboard? If so, what am I doing wrong to not get any display on the monitor?
Edit: Got the computer to turn on, not sure how, but now it's saying 16gb RAM installed, 7.99 GB usable
