I have just moved into a student halls with terribly slow internet. My previous house, just down the road, was covered by a BT Hotspot and was incredibly fast. Where I am staying now is seemingly just outside the hotspot reach. Is there a device I can buy that I can connect my devices to, which would have a better WiFi reach and allow me to connect to this hotspot?
I'm only really concerned about connecting my laptop and PC to the hotspot for faster download speeds.
Where I am staying now caps internet download speed to 10 Mbps, which was never outlined when I viewed the place. Not ideal at all!
I am open to suggestions if there are other solutions to this problem.
