I'm looking to build a Gaming PC and I was hoping someone could rate my build. I'm new to PC Gaming so I'd like to know if the parts I'm buying are first of all good and second of all compatible. I'm aiming to play games at 1440p60fps. Also if anyone could recommend a case that will fit all of the parts that would be great.

CPU: Intel i7 7700
GPU: GeForce GTX 1080
PSU: Corsair SF600 Gold
Motherboard: GIGABYTE B250M-DS3H
RAM: Corsair CMK16GX4M2A2400C14 Vengeance LPX 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4
HDD: Seagate BarraCuda 1TB 3.5 Inch Internal (64MB Cache SATA 6 GB/s up to 210 MB/s)
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5 Inch

I'd very much appreciate it if people could help me out. Thanks in advance.

What kind of price was on the build you proposed? I'm assuming you were using up nowhere near the max budget? (which is fine, of course).

I assume you could order from the UK then too? 2000EUR = 1820GBP (give or take). If you're prepared to spent the budget (not necessary, but this'll give you an idea):

It's..... ok?

Really depends on the budget. An i7-7700 is a strong gaming CPU, and a 1080 is a quality GPU for either 1080p/144Hz or 1440p gaming.
Any lesser resolution (1080p @ 60Hz?) and the 1080 seems a little bit of a waste to me.

An SFX PSU, paired with a mATX board seems like you're probably overspending on the PSU. If you case can accommodate an ATX PSU (and with that motherboard, it should) - a quality ATX PSU doesn't have to break the bank and, based on US prices today - saves you ~$70.

$119 for the SF600, $50 for the CX550M

Cases don't matter too-too much, provided they fit the components and have reasonable airflow.

Personally, for a mATX build, I really like the Masterbox Lite 3.1 at $47.

Then, while very cheaply constructed, the Apevia -X-QTIS is a fairly standard "budget" option.

I think it would be a bit of a shame to house fairly high-end components in anything overly "cheap" though. Just my $0.02.

What's your budget & location? Is this strictly for gaming? Or streaming etc too?
I think you could probably squeeze a little more performance for the money.

@Barty1884 thank you for your recommendations. If by location you mean where I'm living (lol I hope so), I live in Ireland. I'm buying the PC primarily for gaming but I will probably use it for regular PC tasks also. I won't be streaming. If there's anything you think I can improve such as value for money or different components I'm open to suggestions. Also for the budget I'm looking at no more than €2000
