I have a headset that supposedly has surround sound, however mine always has just played the same sound through both speakers for me. From googling around, it seems like this is not a problem I commonly see with this headset (Skullcandy PLYR). I feel it has something to do with the headset being USB, as I've just generally had more problems with USB headsets in the past than with audio jack headsets.
I've googled for hours and tried lots of different things, but can't for the life of me figure out how to get surround sound, or why I don't have it. I'd rather not buy a new headset if it's something that I can just fix.
