Thermal paste for Intel Core i3-7100?

Hello!

Do i need thermal paste for the Intel Core i3-7100? And do you recommend buying a cpu cooler for it? im only gonna use the computer for browsing the internet.

Use the stock cooler with pre applied thermal paste that comes with the cpu.

The Intel Core i3-7100 retail boxed processor includes the heatsink and fan. There will be thermalpaste already pre-applied to the heatsink base.

it doesn't matter what you do on the computer you still need to cool the CPU. just use the stock cooler that is included

No need for separate thermal paste, the stock cooler comes with pre-applied paste. No need for a separate CPU cooler, the stock is fine. Aftermarket coolers are for overclockable chips, which yours isn't.

If you haven't already bought the i3 7100, you can save yourself a bit of money and get a pentium G4560 which will perform just as well, especially if all you're doing is browsing the web.
