Life Story, skip this paragraph if you don't care: So I've been gaming since I was, I dunno, old enough to play the gameboy color that my brother had and his copy of pokemon crystal that he gave me. Over the years I played many a console, mostly playstation but I did have a 360 once. I decided quite a few years ago that PC was just objectively better than all of those, but I never had the money to buy one so I've been living off the family PC which died and then a dinky HP laptop that my mom got because it claimed to have gaming capability (It doesn't). Now, I'm finally building my very first gaming PC, and there's no way in hell I'm gonna cheap out on it. So naturally, I don't really know a lot about PC's and their individual parts and whatnot, though I am learning as quickly as I can. I'm almost done buying up all the parts, but I'm stuck on what headset to get.
Issues with my current headset: My buddies always say I'm way too quiet on my current headsets mic, which really bugs me when I try to talk and no one can actually hear me trying to say anything because of how quiet I am. There's also the problem that when playing games like Rainbow Six: Siege and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (played on a friends PC, my computer dies at the thought of running them), it's extremely difficult to make out the direction sound is coming from.
What I want: So I want a headset with very good sound quality from the mic, near-flawless surround sound, and I don't want a wireless headset, I hate having to charge things. So it has to be wired. Cheaper than $200 would be nice, but I'm really open to any suggestions here.
