Hey everyone,

I'm wondering if this gaming build is good:

CPU: Intel Core i5 7600k
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U14S
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z270-HD3P
Case: Corsair Carbide SPEC-ALPHA Mid-Tower Gaming
Case Cooling: Noctua NF-S12B Redux 1200P
PSU: Corsair RM650x 650w 80+ Gold Modular
Memory: Corsair DDR4 16GB(8Gx2) 3000 CL15 Vengence
LPX CMK16GX4M2B3000C15W
Graphic Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming 8GB
GDDR5X 2560 Core VR Ready GV-N1080G1 - Gaming - 8GD
SSD: Samsung SSD 250GB 850 EVO M.2
Hard Drive: Toshiba 2TB 7200RPM DT01ACA200(From old pc)

I want the overclock to be very good so im not sure about the motherboard, also i'd like to know if you have any other suggestions or replacements for the CPU cooler,PSU,Memory or anything else.

Also the case specification states that the cpu cooler height should be 156mm max, but i chose the 165mm Noctune cpu cooler because i've read in forums and some articles that you can reach till 170mm so i assume its ok, It will help me if you can confirm this too.

Thank you :)

The selected MoBo has a last generation, low budget substandard audio subsystem for gaming (Realtek ALC887 ) whereas the Gigabyte GA-Z270XP-SLI matches it top to bottom in features, it has the top end current generation sound system (Realtek ALC1220). If ya like realistic audio and want to "hear' where those sniper shots are coming from, I'd invest in the better audio solution. The better sound system costs less too
