I am specifically looking at this one: www.cyberpowerpc.com/saved/1K0584. From my understanding, it is a rebranded MSI laptop. WIth that being said, how is the quality? Can I expect a lot of problems with it? The accident protection warranty is extremely expensive and there is no details on what the limited warranty covers. Is it a safe bet to get this laptop or should I spend $250 more and get an MSI one?

Looks to be a rebrand of the GL62

Build quality isn't likely to be any different than MSI's in fairness. I doubt Cyberpower are assembling them themselves. Probably the same factory doing the MSI laptops (just an assumption).

Can;t find much on reviews for either Cyberpower or MSI's offering(s) in fairness.

Where I think the tradeoff would be though, is the return policy & warranty. Cyberpower are pretty horrendous from what I've heard. YMMV with MSI, but I'd expect a 'better' solution overall with...

If you're prepared to pay the Cyberpower price + $250 (or so) for the MSI option..... why not consider an open-box Acer Predator?

GTX 1070, GSync panel.

Gigabyte have an offering in the same pricepoint, with a 1070 - but new (not open box).

Skylake CPU though, no Gsync..... and I've heard there's a good bit of flex in the chassis.

There's also a refurbished Acer Predator, prior Gen (Skylake) i7, 1070 and still has G-Sync.
