It depends on usage scenario of the drive.
If you're going to use it on windows computer only, then format to NTFS.
If you're going to use it on Mac, then format to some mac supported file system.
If you want to connect to multiple type of devices like TV, PC, Mac, Media player and more, then you may need to format it to FAT32.
