I have an Asus X99A motherboard. Running windows 10 and it is installed on the M.2 drive. Latest version of the bios.

When I turn my computer on it always goes into bios because my m.2 drive is not listed as an option in the boot priority menu. However, when I go onto the boot page the drive is listed there and when I click on it the computer boots just fine.

What i want to know is how to get the M.2 drive into the boot priority menu so I don't have to do this manually every time.

Solution
Do you see an option under the boot menu to set the drive with "Windows Boot Manager" as the default boot device?
Generally, this is what you will use to boot from the M.2 drive.. At least that how it works for all of the Windows 7 & 10 PCs here (all of which use 950 and 960 model samsung NVMe drives).
