As long as you do not intend to SLI that GTX 1080 a decent 600 ~ 650W PSU will be more than enough for any kind of overclock you'll wish to make.

Yes, the NEX series is G1. They are okay, though vastly overpriced, and way below the quality of PSUs listed below.

650w is more than enough. You'd be fine with 550w, even with overclocking.

I suggest a Seasonic Focus, BitFemix Whisper, Corsair RMx, EVGA G2, or EVGA G3.
