Wondering if this is a good build: Ryzen 3 1200, AB350M Micro ATX Motherboard, DDR4-2400 8gb, Barracuda 1tb Hardrive, GTX 1050 ti, Corsair 500W psu and the Thermaltake h15 versa micro atx case. Thanks

Get some faster ram. Ryzen performs better the faster the ram is.
Did you get 2 sticks of 4 or 1 stick of 8 gb ram? If you got 1 stick get 2 sticks to enable dual channel mode since it really does matter with ryzen.
Also the corsair builder series psu's aren't great but should be fine for your purposes.

I got 2 4gb sticks. Will this work for overclocking from 3.1 ghz to 3.8ghz (CPU) and from ddr4-2400 to ddr4-2666 (RAM)?

The best speed for ryzen is 3000 mhz. Ram oc'ing is always a gamble.
