I was considering buying the CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme VR GXiVR8060A2 Desktop Gaming PC but Amazon told me that there was a newer model with the same specs. It is called the CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme VR GXIVR8060A4 Desktop Gaming PC. Which one should i buy since there are no reviews for the newer PC?

Surely there is someone in your area that has a PC business.

I agree with everyone else that custom-built is the way to go over online retailer.

First and foremost it will typically cost LESS paying someone to build it than the online retailer.
Secondly you get full decision on parts (and not paying a $30 premium for a $10 more expensive part).
My work (due to requirements and complete lack of choice) bought a few PCs through cyberpower and I can tell you they are crap. The boards are cheap, the fans are cheap and the power supplies are cheap. Factoring in my labor, we could have built them better for less.
I would not recommend buying a pre-built PC from an on-line retailer. Those parts add up to just over $700 and you have no idea of the quality of any of them outside the CPU and OS. I would suggest providing a budget and have the community prepare a build component list for you, then take this to a local mom and pop PC shop and have them build it for you. Some may even let you buy the parts and just charge a flat fee in order to save on sales tax,

Intel Core i5-7400 3.0GHz
Intel B250 Express Chipse
8GB DDR4
120GB SSD
1TB HDD
Genuine Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB Video Card
Keyboard and Mouse

You also avoid ...

a) potential shipping damage
b) if it is, you pay to return it
c) You lose PC access if it breaks and has to be sent back, typically 2 weeks, versus 1 day locally.

I second that advice - - definitely wouldn't buy a pre-built either online or in a PC superstore.

Get one custom-built to your spec preferences at a local PC builder/repair shop.

I've had all mine built that way for the past 20 years - - no regrets whatsoever and it's good to know I'm supporting my local PC shop - - always handy to have one near you -- it's a struggle for them to stay in business if they don't get enough customers because they're all buying pre-built systems from PC World or some online warehouse..

I added the total of the parts and it gave me about $800 without counting the mouse and keyboard or Windows 10. Is it possible that there may be errors in my calculations. Plus, about the shipping damage, Amazon has a policy where you get 30-days return guarantee if the item has any damage caused by shipping. Also, it offers free shipping and a 1-year protection plan upheld by CYBERPOWER PC.

I thought of that but, problem is, I don't live in the US and there are no PC builder shops locally.

I don't recommend Cyber PowerPC at all... I had to replace my CPU Fan, GPU, PSU, and motherboard. after about a year and a half.
