Sometimes all models are not covered on QVL list but ideally it should work. But the flip side is, if it doesnt, the motherboard cannot be questioned as by default the QVL disclaimer stands above individual claims. Only way, is to test it and establish yourself. Then again, its not recommended for better compatibility support.

It can happen at times. In that case you have to test with a kit which is part of the QVL list and eliminate that possibility.
The QVL list contains only the units tested by the manufacturer. But that doesnt mean a kit outside the list should not work.
