Hi I want to know how to find out or be sure which GTX 1080 models have the new 11gbps memory and the GTX 1060 with 9gbps??

Is every single model updated or do I have to scour and research for every single different model from every manufacturer???

I cant seem to find any clear answers I just want to be sure I am getting the new updated models when purchasing a graphics card for my hard earned cash.

Thanks in advance

Mind sharing the make and model of the cards you're eyeing to purchase or perhaps the models you are in possession of? A link to cards would help.

I think you're talking about the memory bandwidth on the respective cards and not their onboard memory which would be 8GB(GTX1080) and 6GB(GTX1060).

Hey thanks for the quick response and yes I'm talking about the updated memory bandwith.

I've not actually tried to look for them, it might not be something most sites will make obvious.

I suggest going to manufacturer's websites and getting the SKU for the products you want to buy.

For example: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-6581-KR

08G-P4-6581-KR

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING, 08G-P4-6581-KR, 8GB GDDR5X, iCX - 9 Thermal Sensors & LED G/P/M

1607MHz Base Clock
1733MHz Boost Clock
257.1GT/s Texture Fill Rate
8192MB GDDR5X Memory
11016MHz Memory Clock
320GB/s Memory Bandwidth

Ok well from what I see there are only like 8 differrent models of GTX 1080s and 6 models of GTX 1060s with the updated memory and theyre all overpriced..

Im just gona wait until next year PC hardware is so overpriced right now
