I replaced my previous processor , an i3 series chip for an i7 2600. Prior to replacing the processor I was playing a couple of games no problem, but upon upgrading I found my browser was lagging and the game I had been playing before was unplayable. Here is a link to a userbenchmark of my system.

If someone could help me figure this out it would be most appreciated

1| Can you please list your specs like so:
CPU(and cpu cooler):
Motherboard: Biostar H61MHB
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS: Windows 7

2| Prior to dropping in the higher tier processor part, did you make sure your motherboard BIOS was up to date?

3| When installing your processor, did you make sure no pins were bent/broken/damaged?

4| You might also want to see the temps for your system using HWMonitor(for the CPU).

I checked the temps and they were really high, so I reopened and found that I had improperly connected the cooler. I reconnected it properly and the temperatures lowered significantly. Thank you for your help
