Will windows 7 work on Ryzen and if so how?

I'd like to know what is required for the actual installation of windows 7 on ryzen. I have heard of two methods of installation and I'm wondering which one is still valid (if not both) and which one is preferable. Some people are using modified ISO's/patches in order to install Windows 7, where as other are simply claiming to install Windows 7 like normal but with a PS/2 keyboard/mouse instead.

Is it possible to just install Windows 7 like normal with a PS/2 keyboard?

the newest chipsets and microprocessors have no driver support in Win7, and no updates forthcoming...

It is time for the 'Death Before Windows 10' crowd to simply choose the dark side...or one of the just as easy to use Linux variants.

Basically no. You'll need some sort of kernel modification for Windows 7 to work on Ryzen.

if the mb chipset drivers are in that package. you can unzip them and put them on a usb stick. during windows install hit f6 custom driver install and install them. myself i see if you can find 7lite and make an updated iso. install service pack one and all the drivers for your mb.
