Hi,

I recently bought the 3200mhz corsair lpx ram, but wasn't able to overclock it (not even to 3066mhz). However, my Asus prime b350 plus does support RAM overclocking up to 3200mhz. I setup the the D.O.C. profile with 1.35v DRAM. It lets me boot, but when I try the prime95 "torture test" the pc turns off...??

Note: I have updated the BIOS to the latest version (0806).

Thanks in Advance.

Solution
AMD Ryzen™ Processors
4 x DIMM, Max. 64GB, DDR4 3200(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/2666/2400/2133 MHz ECC and non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory *1
1*Due to the limitation of AMD Ryzen™ processors, memory frequencies higher than DDR4 2666 MHz are supported only when using one DIMM per channel. (this does not mean yours will not work with later BIOS updates)

Anything with a OC next to it is a overclock setting and not guaranteed.

I'm running it on 2933mhz@1.385, and still after 5-10 minutes of prime95 stress testing it shuts down.

Already tried something similar. I set the memory on 2133mhz, and then stresstested it and it ran fine. But I will try now to use the small FFTs option while on 2933mhz.

so i guess im just unlucky. I've seen a lot of 2400mhz ram kits going up to 3000mhz. Such a shame.
