help with ugrading??
hi everyone, i recenlty bought a new pc for recording and uploading game footage. i dont know very much about pc's so i was loooking for help to upgrade it. the pc is ok i can get good footage at 720p but when i try upgrading the picture that lil bit more it makes the recording lag. any idea on what part(s) i could upgrade just to let everything run a bit smoother? this is the pc i have bought..http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/desktop-pcs/desk...
sorry about that! it is a PC SPECIALIST Vortex Core Lite Gaming PC, http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/desktop-pcs/desktop-pcs/pc-specialist-vortex-core-lite-gaming-pc-10164365-pdt.html
Yeah, no proble, thanks for fixing. Okay, well i can see two things right away: your GPU is the 1050, which has relatively little Vram. This can be an issue when recording, and can cause spikes. the other thing, you are using a AMD cpu, the old ones, which can get very hot, and don`t give TOO good FPS. for the GPU, perhaps something like the 1060 can give you the satisfaction of 720p recordings, as well as not breaking your bank. the CPU, it sounds like the ryzen scheme will fit you perfectly, as their extra cores is excellent for recording/streaming. Maybe the Ryzen 5 1600 will do you justice. With a new CPU, you will need a new motherboard as well, and here, i would perhaps recommend the msi B350M gaming pro here.
Hope this helps

Well, first of all, since the first link you had was in the UK, i`m guessing that`s where you live. You are very lucky for that, since you can then use newegg and Amazon. Those are the sites i would recommend.
Secondly, i`m norwegian, so could you explain what you mean by "where are you able to have these fitted?" xD
