I start the laptop up and its asking me for a password for the previous owners profile is there a way to unlock it as I don't no the password and I want to reset it to factory settings as I bought it for my daughter to use for her school work im so upset as I've had it for a few weeks but not able to use it without this password thing can anyone help???? Please thank you

Can anyone help me at all? I have bought my daughter a second hand Acer aspire laptop but I got it home and charged it up switched it on to find a profile asking for password which I don't no I was really upset as have had it for almost a month now and not able to use it I was hoping to restore back to factory settings and not have password on as my daughter needs it to do her homework on I've tries contacting the person I bought it off but they said they have no clue what password they used for it but told me it can be removed somehow? Can anyone help me please ASAP thanks
